Watching the waves crash against the rocks is probably one of my favorite things in life. When I was trying to come up with a title that matches the feeling of watching the sheer force of the ocean bursting into fireworks of sea foam... the one word that kept sticking out to me was empowered. The ocean is truly magnificent to watch and painting this giant "splooshie", as I like to call it, was some of the most fun I've had painting in quite a while! Trying to capture the movement, chaos, and power of this crashing wave.

The gallery wrapped edges have been painted and there is a wire on the back so that the painting is ready to hang in it's new home! It is finished with a matte varnish to protect the painting from dust and sunlight. The painting is signed, titled, and dated on the back.
